Life happens and sometimes we can't make it to the things we need to - and this includes our counselling appointments. Read more about my cancellation policy below.
Clients are asked to give a minimum of 48-hours notice if they are needing to cancel or reschedule an appointment, otherwise they will be charged the full fee. Giving this notice will allow for that spot to be offered to another person who is on the wait list.
Given the nature of self-employment, I ask that clients respect this policy as I am not on salary and only receive compensation for sessions that are attended. I do fully understand that life happens, and do make exceptions (see section below) but cannot afford to have regular cancellations. If cancelling your sessions or missing them starts to becomes a regular occurrence, it might be advisable to consider restarting your counselling journey at another time.
I understand that life comes with many unforeseen circumstances and that some short-notice cancellations cannot be helped. In these cases, the cancellation fee may be waived and determined on a case-by-case basis. If an emergency arises, please connect with me as soon as possible to let me know that you are unable to attend your appointment.
